Experience
Gene N. Chavez has over ten years of extensive litigation experience.  Gene started his legal career as an Assistant District Attorney in San Juan County.  After successfully prosecuting felonies and misdemeanors in the Four Corners area, he transferred to the Bernalillo County  District Attorney's Office.  He continued to prosecute for several years before deciding to leave for private practice.  Soon after he opened his own shop, he was recruited by a prominent insurance defense firm.  Deciding it was time to obtain civil litigation experience, Mr. Chavez practiced insurance defense litigation for two years.  In 2004, he decided it was time to open his own practice and provide professional services for those that were injured or arrested.
