Bio
Gene N. Chavez is a native of Albuquerque, New Mexico. In 1995, he earned an undergraduate degree from the University of New Mexico in Communication, and a Juris Doctorate from the University of New Mexico School of Law in 1999. Mr. Chavez served as an Assistant District Attorney in San Juan County and Bernalillo County prior to entering private practice. Mr. Chavez has extensive experience working in private practice, as he worked as an associate attorney for a prominent insurance defense law firm.Mr. Chavez is licensed to practice law throughout New Mexico. He has practiced in a wide range of legal areas including criminal defense, worker's compensation, personal injury, wrongful death, landlord/tenant and consumer law.

Mr. Chavez has been active in the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, has served as the director of the New Mexico Hispanic Bar Association and served as regional president of the Hispanic National Bar Association.

Bio
Ms. Vega is a Native New Mexican, born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and a graduate of the Menaul School.  Ms. Vega graduated with honors from the University of New Mexico with a Bachelor of Arts in Latin American Studies and Spanish.  She immediately proceeded to the University of New Mexico School of Law.   Ms. Vega represents clients in a variety of civil and criminal matters in New Mexico state, federal and tribal courts and administrative agencies.  She practices in the areas of personal injury, wrongful death, worker’s compensation, criminal defense, DWI defense and insurance law.
Ms. Vega speaks fluent Spanish and Portuguese.
